The Wealth of Wisdom

For many of us, money was a taboo topic growing up. We were taught not to talk about finances, which left us to navigate financial systems, decisions, and mistakes on our own. However, this is not how the wealthy approach finances. Money and finances are something they discuss more openly with their children. This may be partly because they want any future inheritance to be handled wisely, but more importantly, they intentionally teach their children what they know about money.

If we truly want to change our family trees, we need to change the stereotype around speaking about money.

Legacy is the impact we leave behind. It’s the values that shaped us, the stories that taught us, and, yes, even the missteps that matured us. When we share both our wins and our losses, we give our children a stronger foundation than we ever had.

A great leader will share about his failures before he boasts about his successes.

Let’s normalize sharing our experiences, especially the hard lessons, to equip the next generation with clarity, context, and confidence.

Because the true wealth we pass on… is wisdom.

Learning all things finance together to teach the next generation!

I feel we are all students of one another, learning from each other’s strengths and weaknesses. I am not a financial advisor, but I am continuously learning on my journey to become financially independent, and I’m passionate about teaching others how to do the same. Come learn with me so we can live our best lives and then spread our wings to help others do the same
