To All Young People:
I highly recommend reading the F.I.R.E. Community page and information first. The earlier you know about the F.I.R.E. community, the better it can benefit you if that is the direction you wish to go. (I wish I had known this information much sooner.)
Then, I suggest reading The Money Guy’s Financial Order of Operations and/or Minority Mindset C.L.I.M.B. They both offer great information and can help you know where to put your focus to meet your financial goals.
However, if you want a straightforward plan to start with, reading Dave Ramsey’s Baby Steps will not steer you wrong. His plan is easy to remember and will provide an excellent financial foundation.
Next, read Budgeting, Savings, and Groceries and Gas pages to learn tips about these areas in finance. Knowing this information early can help you develop a more effective plan and achieve your financial goals.
