A bigger pool doesn’t automatically make you a better swimmer.

The same goes for money. Having more will not make you better at managing your money.

Think of the lottery curse. If it wasn’t earned through hard work, most people often have no experience with how to use, protect, or manage it.

This is why many who became millionaires through their own hard work can lose everything, only to earn it all back, and why many lottery winners lose everything and never recover.

“Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it.” Proverbs 13:11 ESV

If habits don’t change, a person with a broke mindset will blow right through the money and be broke again.

Mindset makes all the difference.
