Welcome to my second newsletter!

I’m not sure how often I will send these out, but I thought this would be a great way to update everyone on new information I’ve added to the site. When I add something new, I’ll do my best to share it here. I also added a section to archive past newsletters, so you can revisit previous updates anytime.

This summer flew by, but it brought some exciting events regarding my site that I’m super excited to share:

• My Annual Financial Checkup course is something that was built out of passion, and I’ve spent a tremendous amount of time creating it. I was so very nervous to share it, but so far, I’ve received lots of positive feedback, including positive feedback from a financial advisor at a recent wellness event. That was very exciting for me!

• A teenage son of some dear friends of ours reached out for guidance on managing his new income. I was thrilled and felt blessed that he asked me, as getting teenagers and young adults interested in finances is my passion. I plan to share a post about some of the information we discussed in a few weeks.

• Another dear friend of mine asked me to walk her through the course I created. That was exciting, as it gave me a chance to refine how I teach and support others.

Thank you so much for being a part of this journey with me. Your presence, feedback, and encouragement mean more than you know, and together, we’re building a legacy that lasts.

This course has kind of been my baby the last several months (well…past year). I’ve poured my heart and a lot of time into creating it as I wanted it to be something my teenage children could easily follow through their financial journey years.

As stated before, I was ecstatic to hear how a financial advisor reviewed my course and gave very positive feedback. That was very nerve-racking and exciting to me.

Another comment I received from a recently retired individual really encouraged me. They said at first, they felt the course was geared toward the younger generations, but as they continued reading, they saw how it expanded to include the middle-aged and retirement years as well. What meant the most was hearing that, even as a financially savvy individual, they still learned something new. Hearing that makes all the time and effort put into this course worth it.
