Happy New Year! I can’t believe how fast this last year flew by. It was definitely a year of learning and growth in many areas. Some difficult, some stressful, but also a lot of fun and exciting times with so much to be thankful for.

The word that comes to mind for me in 2026 is FOCUS, focusing on what truly matters. This word surfaced in my heart again and again over the past couple of months, and it feels like the right anchor for the year ahead.

Remember, a new year is not about rushing into resolutions; it’s about aligning our habits, our finances, and our purpose with the legacy we’re working to build. A new year offers a gift of a clean slate paired with the wisdom of everything we’ve learned, and I’m thankful we have a gracious God who walks with us and helps guide us every step of the way.

Here’s to making 2026 the best year ever shaped with clarity, consistency, and the strength of our intentional choices.

If you’ve been watching the financial headlines, you know how crazy the last few weeks have been in the precious metals market. Something is shifting beneath the surface, which makes this the perfect time to revisit the gold‑to‑silver ratio.

This ratio tells a powerful story about where we are in the broader financial cycle, and learning it can give you a clearer understanding and help you make wiser, more intentional decisions for the future you’re building.

Some say gold will be known as “Unaffordium” and silver as “Unobtainium.” Are we already there? Also, in the metals world, copper is often called the technology highway, while silver is known as the glue that holds it all together. How will our growing technology affect these metal markets? And of course, precious metals have long been known as God’s money. What are your thoughts?

The Monopoly board we’ve played on for generations is cracking, and the colorful paper money (fiat money) is no longer enough. Our purchasing power is rapidly declining, debt is at record highs, and the precious metals and cryptocurrencies markets are surging, not just as assets, but as statements. These are all symptoms of the game coming to an end.

Most don’t understand that the game is changing, and currently, it doesn’t appear that there will be a smooth transition. NOW is the time to learn how money truly works, so you’re not the one left holding the empty bags.

A bigger pool doesn’t automatically make you a better swimmer. Just as having more money will not make you better at managing your money. If habits don’t change, a person with a broke mindset will blow right through the money and be broke again.

“Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it.” Proverbs 13:11 ESV

We often measure wealth in dollars; however, your wealth will mean little if your body breaks down or your mind burns out.

Health is tangible and the foundation that makes every other form of wealth usable, meaningful, and sustainable, because in the end, the richest person isn’t the one with the most digits. It’s the one with the clearest mind and the strongest heart.
